About Us

The Ellen Kurtz Interiors design team places your needs, lifestyle and taste as the building blocks of our design vision. Adding layers of texture, points of interest and luxurious style, we create functional and exquisite spaces that reflect your best self. Our design partnership with you represents the best of two designers’ philosophies, Ellen Kurtz and Jill Bolzenius.

Drawing on years of design experience and the client relationship, Ellen’s style reflects understanding of clients’ needs and budget as well as a talent for unexpected details. Ellen is known for creating timeless spaces that have been featured in numerous publications, such as Beautiful New Homes, Traditional Homes, St Louis Magazine and Builder Architect.

Jill brings a fresh look that incorporates "instant gratification" philosophies to transform your space into a destination you enjoy and share with others. For Jill, the instant gratification arrives with the look on a client’s face during the reveal moment when the seamless look reaches completion.

Matched to your style needs, Ellen or Jill can be trusted to take the design lead in your most personal space. Whether traditional glamour or modern panache is your desire, Ellen Kurtz Interiors promises to create the space of your dreams - with more than a little fun enjoyed along the way.

Ellen and Jill are proud graduates of University of Missouri - Columbia with various design degrees and are active members of ASID.
