Four years ago my parish that I have belonged to my entire life, St. Joseph’s Neier, decided to build a brand new parish center. This was not an easy task to say the least. After much debate, our entire parish pulled together, and the outcome was grand.
I was fortunate enough to be apart of it and designed the interior of this building. For 3 years now, on the third Saturday in October, the parishioners of St. Joseph’s put on a wonderful dinner auction to raise money for our spectacular building.
Every year I try to assist in some way. Normally helping setup or tear down, but this year I played the prestigious role of “Vanna” during the Auction. I think my favorite auction item was the shotgun I showcased. I know Ellen and the rest of our table got a kick out of this.
It was great to show off our hospitality as well as our beautiful Parish Center.
