In the fall of 2015, a former client asked me to help renovate his new condo. I had previously worked with the client and his wife on projects in their home.
After his wife passed away from cancer, the gentleman decided to downsize from their large home to a condo.
I was excited to help him renovate his new living space.
In the condo, I looked at the design project as though I was starting from scratch.
I redesigned the floor plan of the home to allow for a larger kitchen and installed new cabinets from Amish company Kenrose Kitchen Kabinets, tile from Prosource, and countertops from Stone Trends. The new floor plan allowed enough space to accommodate a wine bar in the kitchen!
I also minimized the size of the master bath so we could relocate the powder room and increase the space in the master closet. New cabinets in the bathroom came from Kenrose, and the tile was ordered through Prosource.
In the great room, we installed judges paneling and bookcases, adding a masculine, but still elegant feel to the space. I also completely reworked the existing fireplace.
We completed the project in May, the client has been very happy with his newly-renovated condo!
