Bathrooms are the most intimate room in the home. It’s where we go to unwind and decompress from the world outside.
So it is no wonder we are instinctively jealous when we visit a home with a luxurious walk-in shower or spa tub in their master bath.
A long-time client recently hired me to remodel the entire first floor of their home. They plan to one day sell their home, but they also want to enjoy their space while they live there.
This master bathroom, completed this spring, was one of my favorite rooms on the project.
I expanded the bath by using space that was a walk-in closet. I made up for the “stolen” closet space by taking part of the living room to make an even larger walk-in closet.
Now, their master bath has a frameless, stone walk-in shower with a very large skylight. The expansive vanity – 12 feet in length – has plenty of counter space and double bowl sinks.
Stone Trends provided the Cambria quartz countertops and Prosource provided the knotty alder cabinets with a black glaze. Towers on either side offer plenty of his and her storage.
Sconce lights and recessed can lighting provide plenty of light, which only add more beauty to this amazing space.
Now this bathroom is one we can all be jealous of!
