Rustic Western Interior Design
Ellen was recently married and wanted to create a fabulous space for her new husband and family. She decided that the lower level would be the perfect location for entertaining five children and three grand kids who happen to all be under the age of five.
Her husband Ty is a huge western movie buff and loves that rustic style. The space was unfinished so she had a blank slate to work with. The space needed a TV area, pool table area and a bar. Using concrete counter tops and stain concrete floors made it easy for cleanup and little tyke cars! She used barn wood for wainscoting, slate for the fireplace, and added a tall fabric booth in the corner for seating. Leather and nail head trim adorn the front of the bar and added a faux finish to the walls.
The result was a fun and comfortable space we all enjoy. Especially Ty!
