St Louis Rustic Loft Interior Design
The Rustic Loft is complete and the owner can’t wait to show the space off to friends and family.
The owner of this loft also owns a family ranch in Texas so she is accustomed to the look and feel of Texas decor. She likes to keep her Texas roots not too far from her, and this loft definitely fits the bill.
The bar says it all. WOW ! The rawhide pendants glow against the wood ceiling and welcome guests to sit down for a drink. The concrete counter tops add a different look to the bar all the while enhancing the rustic look. The stirrup wall sconces flank each side of the copper farm house sink on the back bar and give plenty of light for entertaining. The rough hewn shelves on the wall can be used for displaying bar glasses or, in our clients case, pictures of her ranch and family. The Steer Cowhide draped over the iron handrail adds a nice rustic touch to the overall theme. The fabric and leather chairs give some color to the look we were going for, and the carpet pulls it all together. In the bathroom we found a unique vanity sink chest with a copper wash basin for the sink. The owner had the adorable cowboy mirror that completed the room perfectly.
This project definitely had it obstacles in the beginning, but all-in-all the finished room speaks for itself. Thanks for following this project over the past few months. To see all photos of this Rustic Loft remodel check Ellen Kurtz Interiors Facebook page or read past Loft project posts.
