In today’s real estate market, few buyers are looking for a property that looks old, dingy or crammed with outdated furniture.
Instead, buyers are snapping up homes that immediately catch their eye – homes that are staged to look bigger, brighter and newer.
Ellen Kurtz Interiors helps clients stage their luxury homes, relying on our design expertise to elevate real estate before it is presented to potential buyers.
At this home in Country Lakes Estates, for instance, our clients asked us to partially stage the property. In some of our previous staging projects, we’ve brought in all the furniture, bedding and accessories.
For this project, our clients wanted to use their existing furniture. We used their furniture and rearranged it where necessary to improve the flow of the home.
We added some new furniture pieces, bedding, black and white photographs, to change the style of the home from traditional to a more transitional style.
In the living room, we added two chairs and a table to complete the look, and brought in two area rugs in the dining room and study.
The addition of lamps and accessories complemented the new transitional style.
Now, as the home goes on the market for sale, buyers can see a more polished design. Perhaps even more important, they can see the potential in the home.
